RDF-Ticker is a newsticker for Windows computers that fetches news from RDF/RSS-feeds (like PMM Playpen's) and displays on a ticker-bar.
It comes pre-configured to display a number of news sources, and headlines from PMM Playpen and other sources can also be easily added. It will even automatically generate a custom newspaper of your favorite news sources!
RDF-Ticker is "share-ware" software, available for free on an unlimited trial basis.
Instructions:
- Download the RDF-Ticker installer
- Double-click on the RDF-Ticker installer
- After installation, start the RDF-Ticker program
- Click on the ticker bar's menu button:
- Select "Channels and Preferences"
- Under "Subscribed Channels", click "New..."
- Type a name (maybe, "PMM Playpen Headlines"?)
- Copy this address into the "News-URL" field:
http://www.pubforge.org/pmm-cms/NewsCMS/dailyRSS.php
- Click "OK", then "OK" again and you're done!
